To all of those back at school: I hope your classes are going well!
Time to hit the books!

I truly hope you all had a wonderful Martin Luther King Jr. Day! And remembered the amazing man he was and the beautiful things he did for this country and the world, and the impact he still has to this day and will in the future.
“I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.”
Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it.
Hatred darkens life; love illumines it.” —Martin Luther King Jr.
As I have previously mentioned I am currently reading True Compass by Ted Kennedy. The memoir is full of inspiring messages of hope. I wanted to share with all of you a quote…
“But I do believe in hope. And I believe that approaching adversity with a positive attitude at least gives you a chance for success. Approaching it with a defeatist attitude predestines the outcome: defeat. And a defeatist attitude is just not in my DNA.” -Ted Kennedy

Consider donating to a charity to help support the nation in these coming days and years to come. Listed below are a few charities that are directly aiding Haiti.

Everybody’s got the love but they keep it inside
Notice it.
Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces.
Smell the rain, and feel the wind.
Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.” —Ashley Smith
Upon the trails we’ve known;
Each stumbling block is not a rock,
But just a stepping stone.” —Charles Ghigna
